Fieldng School Art Show

Cooper and Taylor had their Art Celebration on April 7th at Fielding School. We watched the fifth graders perform their opera, the kindergarteners dance and sing, and then we went to Cooper and Taylor's classrooms to see their art exhibits. Cooper had made a truck and a trailer and Chris LeDoux sculptures. Taylor had made a pretty Cinco de Miyo decoration. Both kids were excited to show off what they had made. Great job kids!!!

Easter Fun at Preschool

Brooklyn and I had a fun day at preschool on April 6th. We did most of our stuff outside, because it was a very nice day. We had an Easter egg hunt. We sang Easter songs. The preschoolers were very excited!

Easter

Cooper was very excited to see if the Easter bunny came last night. He woke up at 2:30 this morning!!! Nick and I sent him back to bed. At 5:00 Cooper and Taylor woke us up. This time we let them wake up Brooklyn. They were so happy that the Easter bunny had hidden eggs for them to find.
Last night, Grandma Berry brought the kids an Easter gift from her and Grandpa. Taylor and Brooklyn got hula-hoops and Cooper got a fish kite. The girls spent most of the morning hula-hooping. Thanks Grandpa and Grandma!!!
We went to Grandma and Grandpa Berry's after church and rolled Easter eggs down the hill. (Taylor was sad, becuase she didn't want her egg to break.) Nick, Cooper, Grandpa Berry, and Clay roped. Cooper did soooo good.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, NICK!!!

Wednesday was Nick's 31st birthday. Brooklyn and I took him out to breakfast, since he is working afternoons this week. We love you and appreciate all you do for us, Dad!

Painting Easter Eggs

Cooper, Taylor, Brooklyn, and I painted Easter eggs today. It was so fun! The kids are so creative. We had many different colors of eggs, eggs with stickers, eggs with names, eggs with TATTOOS, eggs that were painted, eggs that were stamped, etc. Great job kids! They even cleaned up their mess!!!
After we painted eggs, the kids had an Easter egg hunt. They found over 150 eggs!!! They are definitely ready for the Plymouth Easter Egg Hunt tomorrow.

Parent/Teacher Conferences and TAYLOR SWIFT TICKETS

We had parent/teacher conferences on Thursday. Cooper and Taylor are doing so well! Cooper is in third grade. His teacher is Mrs. Gregory. He is above a fifth grade reading level. He is doing awesome in Math. They are learning their multiplication facts, but he has already learned multiplication and is on his 6s in division. We are so proud of you Cooper! Keep up the good work!
Taylor is in first grade. Her teacher is Mrs. Woodward. Surprisingly, Mrs. Woodward said Taylor has been very quite in class and even needs to speak up a little more. (Taylor?? :) ) She is also doing very well. She is at a second grade reading level. She has been learning to count money. The only thing she struggles with is spelling. Keep trying, Taylor. You are doing great!
Brooklyn is doing great at preschool also. She has started READING. She loves the Bob Books. I told her she needs to read each book 10 times with no mistakes and then she can read the next level. She has already passed-off three books! She loves preschool and I get to be her teacher. She is so much fun!

Taylor, Brooklyn, and I are SOOOOOO excited. We have tickets for the TAYLOR SWIFT concert. It is the end of May. We will be going with Steffanie, Kortnie, and Whitnie. We are all very excited.
